ELM Centre is Licensed Group Programs for children 12 months to 6 years of age, offering a nature based, play based, enriched preschool curriculum.

Our program is thoughtfully designed to create a warm, engaging environment where children feel safe to explore, discover, create, and grow. Our approach is inspired by three respected early childhood philosophies: Waldorf, Montessori, and Reggio Emilia.

🌿 Waldorf-Inspired Learning

We value childhood as a special time filled with imagination, movement, creativity, and connection with nature. Children are given opportunities to experience the world through open-ended play, stories, art, music, and hands-on experiences.

Our goal is to nurture curiosity, wonder, and a genuine love for learning.

🌱 Montessori-Inspired Learning

We encourage children to become confident and capable learners by giving them opportunities to make choices, practice independence, and learn through hands-on experiences. Children are supported at their own pace while developing practical skills, concentration, problem-solving abilities, and confidence.

We believe children learn best when they are trusted to participate and do things for themselves.

🎨 Reggio Emilia-Inspired Learning

We see children as capable, curious learners with their own ideas, interests, and ways of expressing themselves. Our environment encourages children to investigate, ask questions, experiment, and share their thinking through art, conversation, movement, building, and play.

Children’s interests help guide our curriculum, allowing learning to develop naturally through meaningful experiences and relationships.
